Campbells of Leyburn is an award-winning supermarket and wine and spirit merchant that has been owned by the Campbell family since 1868. Bev Parker is a landscape and Agrarian artist who worked for the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority for many years. Having lived on a moorland sheep farm she expresses upland agriculture and its defining landscapes through watercolour and mixed media paintings. Bev has also kindly produced a card for us to use when we send special messages to our supporters.

As they have taken over a previous business, they welcome all customers, past, present and new, from Gargrave and the surrounding area.
Gayle Mill is owned by the North of England Civic Trust (NECT) and operated by Gayle Mill Trust (GMT). They came third in the national final of the BBC “Restoration” series in 2004. Visit Gayle Mill, a unique 19th century state of the art sawmill, complete with working Victorian machinery and water-powered turbines. Now fully restored and operating as an historic visitor attraction.

How Stean Gorge Outdoor Centre in Nidderdale is a spectacular limestone gorge. This steep sided chasm is almost 1 km in length and up to 20 meters (80ft) deep in places. Visitors follow winding walkways, explore caves and tunnels or challenge themselves on a Via Ferrata course. Too much to fit into one day? Bring a tent and stay on our campsite or try our one of our tepi’s.
Ian Scott Massie is a painter, printmaker, poet, art teacher and author based in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales town of Masham. He regularly stages exhibitions, sometimes about the Dales. Ian says “For the past couple of years I have been researching and collecting stories of all kind from the Yorkshire Dales. Classic legends, historical characters, the background behind real events and personal anecdotes have all been quietly accumulating and giving life to paintings and prints. My working pattern is to find the story, find the place, pay a visit armed with sketchbook and camera, and turn my experience into a painting which illuminates, in some way, the story.”

John Mason Printers is managed by Matthew Mason, however Matthew’s Grandfather John Mason Snr (Jack) created the firm in 1947. Since then the company has moved and expanded three times without leaving Skipton. The traditional standards of lithographic produced printing are maintained to this day using industry standard Heidelberg presses and high quality inks and papers. The Three Hares Cafe, Bistro and Bakery on the high street in Sedbergh has been run by James Ratcliffe and Nina Matsunga since 2014. They source their produce from the local fells, woodland, and meadows, the North West coast, and the vegetable and fruit growers of the north. Three hares comes from the symbol found throughout the orld from English Churches to synagogues and Buddhist temples. Their style of cooking is influenced by James' upbringing in the local area involved with wild foods and game, and by Nina's background of growing up in Germany with Japanese parents.
The National Three Peaks Challenge is a well known phrase amongst the more adventurous and involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. Three Peaks Challenge Ltd offers organised versions of the National Three Peaks Challenge, including one with 389 miles of sailing, seventy-two miles of running and eighteen miles of cycling – not for the faint hearted! Group challenges are also offered for the Yorkshire Three Peaks, the Welsh 3000s, the Three Peaks Cyclo Cross plus lots of information for individuals and groups.

The company was established by Dave Eggleton and Jonathan Shepherd in 2015 as part of a desire to put something back into the community and help to make Wharfedale an even better place to live, work and visit. Our primary goal is to raise money for non-profit organisations and needy causes throughout the Upper Wharfedale area. This year there are three key areas that we are looking to support; Community Transport Links, Junior Sports Development, and Tourism Safety Organisations. In 2005 Jon with his wife Laura opened Vennell’s Restaurant. Situated in the beautiful town of Masham, 15 minutes north of Ripon in North Yorkshire. They had a clear philosophy, fresh, local, seasonal produce handled with care and cooked sympathetically.
