Join or Renew

You can pay for or renew your annual membership by secure online payment using your PayPal Account OR your Credit/Debit Card. PayPal charge us a very small fee (the charity rate of 1.4% plus 20p) of each subscription and donation made by you to us.

Please note that PayPal will set this up as an automatic renewal (recurring payment) - on a 12 month renewal. This means your subscription will to be automatically taken again by PayPal in 12 months time. If you dont want that to happen you will need to cancel the automatic renewal with PayPal by accessing your PayPal account. If you have any queries about this or want a refund of an automatic renewal, contact Ann Shadrake, Friends of the Dales

Are you renewing an existing membership? If you originally paid by PayPal and set up an automatic renewal (recurring payment) please check that PayPal hasn't already taken this from your account or is due to take this from your account BEFORE proceeding to payment below. Otherwise you may end up paying twice! We can of course refund any overpayments if this does happen. If you have any queries about this or want a refund of an automatic renewal, contact Ann Shadrake, Friends of the Dales

Membership rates (from October 2018) are as follows:

Individual ( One Friend ) : £25 / year

"There isn't a more glorious and beguiling landscape anywhere, or one more deserving of our support. It really is as simple as that"

Alastair Humphreys

says :

"it's more beautiful than you realise; the people are open and friendly and have time for you; your phone might not work which is a positive as you'll have more time - slow down and enjoy the silence".

Alastair’s quest for adventure began young. Aged 8, he completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge over 26 miles
